Launchpad overview
Launchpad guides a collection from setup to a public mint.
One collection, multiple rounds
After the first mint, a creator can release more NFTs without deploying a new collection. HoodMarket appends a new token range to the same ERC-721 contract and gives that range its own sale configuration.
This keeps the same:
- Collection contract address
- Collection identity and ownership
- Existing minted NFTs
- Marketplace collection history
The new round can use different artwork, dates, pricing, allowlists, and wallet limits. Learn more in Mint more in one collection.
Typical flow
- Create the collection and configure its identity.
- Prepare NFT images and metadata in a ZIP file.
- Upload the ZIP directly to storage.
- Save an edition as a draft while you review it.
- Configure mint dates, pricing, wallet limits, and allowlist stages.
- Deploy the edition and test mint before announcing it publicly.
Drafts and deployed editions
A draft can be edited or deleted. Deleting a draft also removes the draft-only media associated with it.
After an edition is deployed, its confirmed token range is treated as permanent. Some presentation metadata may remain editable, but the deployed supply history must stay consistent with the contract.
Large uploads
Large ZIP files upload in verified batches. The progress bar reports how many NFTs are securely saved.
If the browser refreshes, completed batches remain safe. Select the same ZIP again to resume; completed items are not uploaded twice.
